On Saturday 13th July, members of the Victory Youth Group took part in its annual ‘We Care Youth Engagement’ day.

The Victory Youth Group in Catford, London organised to clean-up Goldsmith’s Community Centre. The centre has grounds that has been neglected and in need of some much needed care and attention.

Fourteen VYG volunteers were on hand to do the job, including ward councillors Jonathan Slater, Mark Ingleby and Kim Powell who all worked together weeding, preparing the ground for new plants

Centre Manager Roz Harding said,  “[I] …was very impressed at how well behaved and polite they all were and the work they did made a huge difference to the feel of the centre as it looks so good.”
