As the festive season approaches, the spirit of Christmas comes alive in moments of togetherness, kindness, and shared meals. This year, at select UCKG HelpCentre locations, we will once again host our Annual Christmas Lunch — a much-loved tradition that brings people together to celebrate hope, generosity, and community.
Taking place across selected locations — Finsbury Park, Catford, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Peterborough, Glasgow, Luton, and Hackney — this special lunch is more than just a meal. At some of these centres, the Christmas Lunch will be offered as a takeaway, ensuring that even more people can receive a festive meal and feel supported during the holiday season.
The Christmas Lunch will be held on Thursday, 25 December 2025, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, allowing guests to enjoy a festive meal in a warm and welcoming environment during the heart of Christmas Day.
Whether enjoyed around a table or taken away to share at home, this experience is more than just food. It is a space where memories are made, laughter is heard, and no one feels alone during the holiday season. Each year, the doors are opened to members of the community, offering the opportunity to enjoy a lovingly prepared Christmas lunch in an atmosphere filled with warmth and welcome.
The Christmas Lunch has become a cherished event at our centres, growing year after year through the dedication of volunteers who offer their time to prepare every detail and ensure the day offers the very best to those who attend. It is a beautiful example of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
Whether you are attending as a guest, collecting for someone in need, or there for the sense of community and togetherness, every plate served and every smile exchanged adds to the magic of the season.
