The Caleb Group works to give back to the ones who did not have the privileges that we take for granted today and restore the dignity, love and respect that has been lost over time.
With nearly three million people in the UK aged 65 and over who feel they have no one to turn to for support, the Caleb Group aims to make a difference for those who fall in this age group. With weekly, monthly and annual activities and events, the Caleb Group works to give back to the ones who did not have the privileges that we take for granted today and restore the dignity, love and respect that has been lost over time.
Activities included in the Caleb yearly calendar include:
- Weekly / bi-monthly get togethers
- Monthly care home visits
- Pampering day
- Cultural day
- An annual seaside trip
- Annual Christmas lunch and loads more…
The other services on offer include hospital and home visits for those who may need that little extra care and attention at such a vulnerable time in life.
What people say about the Caleb Group:
“In the Caleb group, we take part in social meetings and pampering days that help to build up our self esteem. We all interact really well. I find everyone very friendly. I’m also a member of the PCG (Patient Care Group), which I like because we bring a smile to those we visit and I feel as though I’m caring for others and doing something to help people to recover and be positive.”
